On February 16, 2023, Jessica (Jessy) L. Medina-Gomez passed away unexpectedly at her home in Panama City, FL. Jessy was only 46 years old when she was called to her heavenly home. May she rest easy and find peace.

Jessy was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to the late Sylvia Gomez and Jose Luis Medina Blanco. As a child/teen, her family relocated to the Detroit, Michigan area where she attended Detroit Western High School.  She moved to Hollywood, FL with her young children and began a new life. Jessy had just recently relocated to Panama City, FL. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. Jessy was anxiously awaiting the birth of her first grandchild, AvaWright, this Spring. In fact, she had just purchased Ava’s crib a few days prior to her passing.

Jessy was a beautiful woman, inside and out. Her laughter was contagious, and her smile illuminated a room. Jessy’s loss will be felt for a long time to come by many. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved five children: Jose Anthony Castro and his partner Alyssa Peralta of Orlando, FL, Ana Mariely Castro and her fiancé Alex Wright of Orlando, FL, Maranllelis Castro and her partner Jeremiah Mayo of Hollywood FL, Abner Robles and Sabatiel Robles. Her loving brothers: Junior Gomez and spouse Jeremy Conti and Hector Berdecia Gomez
