Mary Lee Thomas, 77, of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026, surrounded by her loving family and close friends.

Born on September 8, 1948, in Covington, Kentucky, Mary Lee was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering devotion to others. She was the beloved wife of David W. Thomas for 39 years, a devoted mother to Jolie Davis (Mark) and Jamie Showalter (Sandy) and a proud grandmother to Ryan, Sydney, Jake, and Luke. She is survived by her sister, Susan Carney, and preceded in death by her brother, John Carney.

Mary Lee loved to crochet, cook, read, and spend time with those she cherished. She was a member of the prayer shawl committee at First Presbyterian Church of Orlando.

Rooted deeply in her faith, Mary Lee trusted in the Lord throughout her life, and her family finds comfort knowing she has gone home to be with her Heavenly Father. A celebration of life will be announced at a future date.
