Joan Eleanor Duronio

Joan Eleanor Duronio (Meyersieck), 76, of Davenport, Florida passed away on November 19, 2020. Joan was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 4, 1944. Joan graduated from The Center of Creative Arts in Detroit, Michigan.

She had a love of art and was incredibly talented. After graduation, she worked at Kresge in their ad department.

She married Angelo Duronio in 1964 and together they had their beloved son James Angelo Duronio. Joan was a homemaker until 1985 when she joined Parda Federal Credit Union where she continued to work until retiring in April 2020. In 1989, James married Laurie Zigarac who Joan always called her “daughter”. In 1995, Joan’s triplet granddaughter’s Jaclyn Jessica & Jenna were born. She had a deep love for her family and made sure they always knew it. She would always say, “Love You, Love You” to all of us because saying it once was never enough. She was a loving, kind-hearted soul who was always there for her family.

Since retiring, Joan moved to Davenport, Florida to be near her family. As a family, everyone was happy to be together again and were looking forward to the holidays.

Joan is preceded in death by her parents Marjorie and Harold Meyerseick. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Angelo Duronio, her son James (Laurie) and her granddaughters, Jaclyn (Shaun) Wassell, Jessica Duronio, and Jenna (Connor) Beltramo.

Mom/Grandma, we will always wish we had more time with you! We love you dearly and will treasure you in our hearts forever.
