Theodore Edward Zeidler

Theodore Edward Zeidler, 76 passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Orlando, Fl.

Zeidler was born in Le Clair, Iowa June 24,1947 to Dorothy June Woodruff Zeidler and John Edward Zeidler.  He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged.  His love for the Iowa Hawkeyes started at birth.  He continued his interest at the University of Iowa where he wrestled.  He had a long time love and career for John Deere.  He retired from Harvester Works (John Deere) after engineering for them 31 years.  Ted loves any Hawkeye sport and singing karaoke in a crowded bar.

Zeidlers surviving family members include daughters Andrea Napier and Kristen Zgonis.  Ex wife Nancy Zeidler.  Sister Cheryl (Miller) Jackson.  Grandchildren Brett Zeidler, Labrini and Leanna Zgonis.  Niece Kim (Jackson) Pawlowski and nephew Scott Jackson.  Friends and companions Jamie Mott and her daughter Jillian Smith.

In order to honor Teds memory, donations can be made to University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital.  You can find sports fans waiving to the children during hawkeye games.
