William R. Knichel passed away on the morning of January 21st in Orlando with his daughters, Kandace and Kristy, by his side. William grew up in Paramus, NJ where he graduated from Paramus High school in 1967. He served in Vietnam with the Army after graduation.
Bill was a larger-than-life personality with a huge, caring heart. He had a love for his friends, family and life that made him a legend. He always stressed the importance of family being first and living life to the fullest. Bill’s greatest accomplishment in life was not just his children, but starting his own business, Knichel Logistics, and being able to pass it onto his children in order to leave the legacy he always wanted. Bill was very much loved and will be greatly missed by many.
He is survived by his daughters, Kandace Knichel & Kristy Knichel-Bartolozzi; his son, William Knichel; his 4 grandchildren, Zaydra Barkley, Brayden Bartolozzi, Adin Knichel and Toby Knichel; and his two sisters, Kandace Dewberry & Georgia Duffy.
Bill was very passionate about giving back to his community, so in lieu of flowers, please send donations to a nonprofit very dear to his heart; Defenders of Freedom Pittsburgh. https://defendersoffreedompa.us/donate
