Bernard Richard Fiedler (79) of Orlando Fl passed away on October 9th, 2021 at the VA Hospital.
Bernie was born on January 16, 1942 to Josephine and Bernard Fiedler in Jersey City, NJ . He grew up in Hoboken, NJ . He was a corporal in the Marines from 1959 -1963. He worked at Maxwell House Coffee and was a driver for UPS before moving to San Jose, CA in 1973 with his first wife, Florence; they divorced after 20 years.
In 1985, he met his wife Paula, in Santa Clara, CA at a bar called the Nut House. They were married on September 13,1986 in Livermore, CA going on to have three children Amanda, Kristian, and Bryan.
Bernie lived in CA for 28 years and worked in the food industry for Rhodes and then Isis until he left and moved to Liverpool, NY during which he worked for another food distributor Lorenzo’s. He semi-retired and went to work for Walmart as a store greeter. He lived in Liverpool, NY for 16 years then retired to Orlando, FL.
Bernie’s favorite thing was to spend time with his three children, grandchildren and his extended family and those close to him that he made his family. He was happiest just hanging out at the pool in CA and visiting Reno or Vegas. He loved to go on cruises, to Myrtle Beach and the beaches in Florida.
Bernie is predeceased by his parents, Josephine and Bernard, his brother, Robert, sister in law, Helene, and brother in law Stefan all of San Jose, CA. His brother in law, Bernard Foley and nephew, Joshua Foley of Walton, NY
He is survived by his wife, Paula, and their three children Amanda (Paul) Lizotte, Kristian (Andrew) Krause, and Bryan Fiedler.
His precious grandchildren Patrick and Adrienne Lizotte and Levi Shumaker-Krause.
His siblings, Kenny (Ann), Larry (Florence), Tommy (Geri), Joseph (Nora), Janice Foley, and Evelyn Fiedler and many nieces and nephews.
