Dorothy Marie LaMontagne, 90, of Lake Nona, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2021, surrounded by three of her loving daughters, Rosemary, Susan, and Carol.

Dorothy and Phillip were blessed with nine children: Linda (John Waldron), Rosemary, Charles (Bonnie), Richard (Lois), Susan (Bill Rogers), Carol (Chris Sause) Phillip, Jr. (Sherri), Arthur, and John (Pam). Dorothy was a proud and loving grandmother to 22 grandchildren, and 34 great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was a devoted mother, devout Christian, and meticulous homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, and stitchery. Dorothy was known for putting her children and others first throughout her life. After raising her nine children and relocating to Melbourne, Florida, Dorothy expanded her Christian service by volunteering at the Ascension Catholic Church Thrift Store.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents: Sofie and Walter Samulski: Phillip, her husband of 53 years; siblings, Walter, Shirley, Marilyn, Gloria, and Vivian; and son Phillip, Jr. Dorothy is survived by her other eight children, 22 grandchildren, and 34 great grandchildren.
Dorothy will be missed for her loving and caring heart, compassionate nature, and selfless service to others. We all love her deeply and will carry her in our hearts forever.
A lovely tribute to a gracious, giving woman. The love you have for your Mom is reflected in the beautiful words you’ve chosen to honor her. My deepest sympathy to Linda and to the entire family.
Peace be with you all.
Thank you for your kind words Susan.
