Mitcheal (Mitch) W. Griffis died unexpectedly in Orlando, FL on January 10, 2021 at the age of 41.

Mitch was born in Gainesville, FL on December 16, 1979 to Ondrasa and Joe. Where he resided till the age of 2; when he came to live with his father, step mother (Cheila) and sister Cecilia in Orlando, Fl.

As a child Mitch was very inquisitive and loved to tinker with his toys. His curiosity to take things apart and rebuild was the start of him becoming a jack-of-all-trades into his adult life. Mitch loved to work with his hands and took great pride in his work – a slight perfectionist when it came to it. He also was a great cook and had a ‘secret technique’ for everything. He also loved spending time outdoors and hunting. Mitcheal was a loving Father, Son, Brother and Uncle. He will be missed deeply by his family and friends and his passing has left a void in many hearts. 

Mitchealis survived by his children Zackary Griffis and Kaylee McMeen; his parents Ondrasa Davy of Naples, FL and Joe and Cheila Griffis of High Springs, FL; siblings: Cecilia Allen (Mike) of Garner, NC, Amanda Griffis (Russell) of Orlando, FL, Jenniffer Saunders of Naples, FL; Grandmother: Sondra Ragland along with 3 nieces, 2 nephews, 1 great niece, 1 great nephew, and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. He is preceded in death by his brother Wesley Saunders of Spring, TX, grandparents Virginia and Richard Batt, Benjamin Griffis, Virgie Alewine, and Cecil Ragland.

At this time the family has decided no funeral or memorial service will be planned.
