Affectionately known as Billy by his family and many friends, he was a Rigger in the Precast concrete construction trade, a tremendous cook and avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing and being near any body of water. Billy liked four-letter words just about as much as four-wheel drive pick-up trucks and NASCAR. He was a connoisseur of banana cream pie and a firm believer that anytime was a good time for ice cream. Billy loved to read and his favorite book was the Bible, which he often traveled with and enjoyed send scripture to loved ones. His strong faith carried Billy throughout his life.
He also loved milk shakes, Mountain Dew, the Steelers, eating candy by the handful, and dogs-his favorite being DJ , that Billy treated like a child.
Billy will be deeply missed by so many. His sisters Gloria Waterworth, Tammy Mathis Folks, Shannon Chancey, Heather Felder Ratliff and his brother Scott Alexander. Many nieces and nephews that will remember his funny jokes and teaching them to fishing. Billy has a special place in the hearts of his many cousins, Aunts and Uncles, the most special being his Aunt Shirley Westberry. His special angel Kelly Newton, who was his first and forever love.
He was a rare combination of someone who had a love of life and a firm understanding of what was important – the simplicity of life.
