Charles Edward Deese (Charlie) passed away peacefully on January 27th, 2019. He was born to Emma Lou Deese and Charles Edward Deese in Alabama on October 8, 1943. He spent most of his life in Florida, cared for by his brother and family. He is preceded in death by both parents, a sister Patricia Ann Deese (Patty), and a brother William Wayne Deese (Bill). He is survived by a brother James Richard Deese (Rick), and 9 nieces and nephews, Mike Adams, Todd Adams, Alan Deese, Jason Deese, Mandy Riggers, Steven Deese, Lacey Deese, Chelcey Deese, and Kode Deese.
Charlie was a character if you ever knew one, with a laugh that was contagious. He had an uncanny ability to remember just about anything. From a football game (Roll Tide Forever!) or baseball game score to the weather, regardless of what, when and where, he prided himself on being able to tell anyone who would listen. Pleasantly ornery, with a childlike kindheartedness, he was as special as he was wonderfully unique. He will be deeply missed while he reunites with his family in Heaven, until we all meet again. We pray they have pencils and notebooks in Heaven. Go rest high, Charlie. You now have the best seats for The Tide!
