Somerville – Angelo M. Rodriguez Sr., 65, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023 and reunited with his father, Remigio. He was born and raised in Bound Brook, NJ, a graduate of St. Joseph’s Bound Brook and Bound Brook High School, class of 77. Angelo resided in Somerville,NJ for 40 years.
Angelo was a skilled craftsman and the proud owner of Angelo’s Limousine & Angelo’s Construction. He found great joy in his work, especially building and collecting cars. One of his most cherished possessions was his 66’ and 59’’ Corvettes, which reflected his passion for automobiles.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Angelo actively contributed to his community as a member of the Moose, Eagles, and Elks. He believed in the importance of camaraderie and service, and these organizations provided him with an opportunity to make a positive impact.
Angelo’s dedication extended beyond community involvement. He served as a football coach, imparting his knowledge and inspiring young athletes to reach their full potential. He also embraced the discipline and teachings of martial arts, earning a black belt. Angelo shared his expertise by teaching martial arts to others, leaving a lasting impact on his students. He also selflessly volunteered as a firefighter, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to protecting others.
When Angelo wasn’t working, he loved to travel and explore new destinations. These adventures allowed him to create cherished memories with his family and friends, whom he valued deeply.
Angelo’s charismatic personality made him the life of the party. He was always ready for a game of dominoes or simply stashing someone. His infectious laughter and warm presence brought joy to those around him.
Angelo M. Rodriguez Sr. leaves behind a legacy of craftsmanship, generosity, and a zest for life. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends, who will forever cherish the memories they shared.
He will sadly be missed by all who loved him. Angelo was the husband of Sharon; devoted father of Angelo Jr., Heather, and Alicia; cherished grandpa of Christian, Maximillian, Arianna, and Marino; and his many nephews and nieces.
A memorial service to celebrate Angelo’s life will be held in New Jersey. It will be an opportunity for family and friends to gather, share stories, and honor his memory.
The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude for the support and condolences received during this difficult time.

So many great memories. I went to school with Angelo and graduated with him and he was always a great guy to me and he was just a sweetheart and I love and we will all miss him.
