Joseph J. Brennan, Jr., from Montverde, Florida, died on June 29, 2024 at the Bedrock Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Orlando, Florida after a long illness. He was 80 years old.
Joe was born in Patterson, New Jersey, the son of the late Joseph J. Brennan, Sr., and Ellen “Nell” Baxter Brennan. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marilyn Belanger Brennan. He worked in law enforcement for many years, both for the New Jersey State Police, and was the former Chief of Police of Minneola, Florida for six years. He owned his own business, J&M Polygraph Science, Inc. until he retired.
Joe was proud of his Irish heritage. He loved music, listening to it, and playing his guitar. He had a wonderful singing voice, playing in a band in the 1950’s. He loved his dogs, and enjoyed spending time at the beach.
Services will be private at a later date. In his memory, donations can be made to The Alzheimer’s Association or any animal rescue.
