I am sad to announce the passing of my husband, Carl Edward Prince of Kissimmee, FL, known as ‘Eddie’ to most of us. Eddie passed away on February 3rd, 2024 at home after losing his battle with lung cancer. My daughter-in-law Jessica and I were at his bedside when he passed.
He was an employee of FORPAC, LLC in Haines City, Florida. He loved his job, and he thought the world of his co-workers, especially his supervisor Mike Dulin. I want to personally thank Mike and the FORPAC family for everything that they did for Eddie and I during his months of illness. They are a wonderful group of people.
I also want to thank my daughter-in-law Jessica Prince and Eddie’s former wife Natalie Prince for helping me care for Eddie so I could continue to work. I couldn’t have gotten through these past difficult months without them. I also want to thank his cousins Judy and Doris, and his sister June for their financial help and emotional support during his illness. They were a great help and comfort.
All who knew Eddie, knew he could be a very complicated and very stubborn man, but we also knew what a loving, generous, kind, and tender-hearted man he could also be. He was a very strong, independent man who always worked very hard to provide for his family. He was a loving son, father, husband, grandfather, and friend.
Preceded by his father, Carl Lewis Prince, brother, Randy Miller, and brother-in-law Kenneth Adams.
Survived by: Tina Adams Prince – wife, 2 sons – Adam and Lewis Prince, daughter-in-law Jessica Prince, 4 grandchildren – Isabella, Hailey, Bradley, and Edward Prince, Mother – Bobbie Gantt, 2 brothers – William Miller and Kevin Gantt, 2 sisters – June Brannen and Kathy Cronan, Aunt – Lois Comer, 3 cousins – Judy Comer, Doris Thompson, and Clara Purser, Mother-in-law – Nancy Adams, 2 sisters-in-laws – Angela Williams and Deborah Westbrooks, 2 brothers-in-laws, Gary Williams and Gene Westbrooks, Former wife – Natalie Prince, Former mother-in-law Alice Skarp and former sister-in-law Kassandra Skarp.
He is loved and will be greatly missed by us all. Gone too soon but will never be forgotten.
